Fariha Anwar, aged 38, who is suffering from cancer, needs urgent financial help for treatment to save her life for the sake of her daughter.
Fariha is a widow. Her two sons were killed in a road accident last year. Now she is living all alone with her five-year-old daughter. Having a master’s degree in English, Fariha is capable enough to bear the expenses of her treatment by doing some job, but even after an effort of more than two years she is unable to get employment.
“I visited government and private offices in the capital, but each time received nothing but disappointment,” she said. She added that actually a strong reference is required to get a job. She is in need of Rs60,000 for treatment of bone-marrow cancer but she has not even a single rupee with her. “It is difficult to arrange for even two-time meal for me and my daughter then how I could arrange such a big amount,” she said.
Fariha appealed to philanthropists and high-ups of the government to consider her request and immediately help her by giving her money so that she could continue her treatment. “I also appeal to authorities to give me some job so that I could lead a respectable life and bring up my daughter,” she said. She can be contacted on mobile number 0303-5478536.
