Kidnapper and killer of four-year old child arrested

ISLAMABAD: Margalla Police Islamabad on Wednesday arrested a kidnapper who was allegedly involved in kidnapping and killing of a four-year old child and demanding ransom amount Rs. 7,00,000 from his parents, a police spokesman said.

 

According to details, Muhammad Anwer resident of House No. 805, Street no.64, sector G-9/4 lodged the complaint with Margallah police station about kidnapping of his son Muhammad Imran by unknown person who had also demanded ransom amount Rs. 7,00,000 from him. On the basis of his complaint, First Information report (161/13) was lodged under relevant sections.

 

Following this report at Margallah police station, IGP Islamabad Bani Amin and SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq assigned the task to SP (Investigation) Mustansar Feeroz and DSP Margallah Rasheed Niazi to ensure arrest of kidnapper at earliest.

 

A special team under their supervision including Station House Officer Inspector Irshad Abro , Inspector Muhammad Aslam, Sub Inspectors Asjad Mehmud , Abdual Sattar, ASI Muhamamd Nawaz and others was constituted.

 

This team worked day and night to arrest the perpetrator of this crime and succeeded to arrest an Afghan national identified as Fazal-Ur-Rehman s/o Sahi Jahaingir.

 

During the investigation, the nabbed person confessed to murder the child after kidnapping him and dumping his body in Jungle area in sector G-9.
