Opposition to notify PM of short-listed candidates for caretaker prime minister

LAHORE: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar will officially submit three names for the post of caretaker prime minister today, Geo News reported.

 

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday Nisar had said, that his party had short-listed three candidates for the caretaker prime minister and that he would be replying to Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf's letter on Thursday.

 

The shortlisted candidates include Rasool Baksh Palejo, Justice (r) Nasir Aslam Zahid & Justice (r) Shakirullah Jan.

Shortlisting Mr Rasul Baksh Plejo as one of the probables for PM is a good move on part of PML N. Mr Plejo has guts, courage, strength of character and a resolve. He should be a consensus candidate from the govt side as well.
