KARACHI: The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has made its decisions in today's meetings convened to chalk out strategy following the expiry of deadline given by the party to the government for the arrest of culprits behind Abbas Town attack and to take steps to alleviate the sufferings of the victims.
A joint meeting of the Coordination Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Karachi and London held today to chalk out its future line of action after its deadline given to the government expired.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain had set a three-day deadline for the government to arrest the culprits behind Abbas Town carnage. The deadline expired today but the terrorists could not be taken into custody nor did the government undertake any action to assuage the anguish of the victims.
It may be mentioned here that a high-intensity bomb explosion at Abbas Town on Sunday killed 48 people including women and children and injured more than 140 others.
