LAHORE: City District Government Lahore will develop modern parking stands in Moon Market, Gulberg liberty market, Hafeez Centre and Barkat market in order to solve the parking problems in the city.
In this regard, an agreement was signed between Lahore Parking Company and City District Government Lahore at Town Hall on Monday. DCO Noorul Amin Mengal, Chairman Lahore Parking Company MPA Hafiz Noman, Administrators of all towns, representatives of S-Park Company of Turkey and three-member of Turkish delegation were also present.
Addressing the meeting, DCO Noor Ul Amin Menagl said that citizens would feel relief after the establishment of modernized parking stands and plazas. He added that these parking stands would be developed through public-private partnership.
He said that Lahore Parking Company would utilize the assets of district government while the district administration would get 75 percent profit share. (APP)
