PM house distances from Bilor statement

ISLAMABAD: The prime minister house announced on Sunday, that they have nothing to do with the statement of the Federal Railway Minister, Ghulam Ahmad Bilor announcing head money for the producer of the blasphemous film, Geo News reported.

It may be recalled that the Federal Railway Minister, Ghulam Ahmad Bilor speaking to the media yesterday, had announced an award of $100,000 for whosoever would kill the producer of the profane film.

The PM house spokesman said that Ghulam Ahmad Bilor was a leader of ANP and the prime minister would speak to the ANP Chief Asfandyar Wali with regards to a future strategy. The spokesman didn’t rule out any action against the railway minister, but presently he would continue working as usual.

Meanwhile, Awami National Party (ANP) spokesman Zahid Khan told Geo News, “We believe in non-violence and have always talked of peace and stability.” He said that the declaration of award by Ghulam Ahmad Bilor was his personal act and it has nothing to do with the party policy. An explanation would be sought from him about this statement.

It is shocking Wajid Durrani the High Commissioner of Pakistan in London defended Bilor and despite repeatedly asked to condemn the atrocious statement made by a Minister in the Central Cabinet failed to assure the viewing public that the Minister will face sanctions or be asked to resign. Durrani by endorsing the views of Federal Minister has put PM and his Government in an untenable position.

Bilor is out of order and as he is part of Federal Government, distancing itself of responsibility may not be sufficient for Government as it makes headline news around the globe. Unless Raja Rental is prepared to sack him, it implicates Government. Iran to its detriment has faced years of sanction as a rogue state and with memories of Osama found in midst of secured area, Pakistan is not far to be declared a failed or a rogue state. If Bilor refused to resign, PM should tender his resignation

i suggest the railway minister to put a greater bounty on the imam who commited blasphemy by wrongly framing the christian girl. if he does not do this then I will. this imam needs to be punished severly for making the christians look bad he insulted the christian faith also as a christian i will burn him now.
