Rimsha Masih is innocent: Police

ISLAMABAD: According to the interim charge sheet presented in the court by the Police, Rimsha Masih the 14 year old Christian girl accused of blasphemy is innocent and the Imam (prayer leader) Khalid Jadoon who allegedly framed her should face trial.

 

The investigating officer in the case, Munir Jaffry told a foreign news agency that he had informed the court that no evidence could be found against Rimsha Masih and that she was framed by the Imam of the local mosque.

 

"We have also told the court that there are witnesses and evidence against the local Imam for framing a false blasphemy case against Rimsha," Jafri told the foreign news agency.

 

Judge Ghullam Abbas Shah has adjourned the hearing of the case till Monday and during the next hearing it will be decided if the Imam should face trial.

Here is my prediction: Nothing will happen to the Imam but if this poor girl is ever found she will be killed and the killer will be garlanded and rose petals will be thrown on him. You can take this to the bank!

what do they mean that the judge will decide whether to trial him or not. they were fast to decide what to do wiht the anti islam film maker so why not wiht this imam. he tore pages from teh quran yes he commited blasphemy he should be burnt. or is this law only applied to non muslims. justice anybody.

the imam deserves same treatement as terry jones & the anti islam film maker but this time christian's r going to burn this imam alive as he insulted the christians and their religion. he insulted his won religion. i wonder how fair the judge is going 2 be since now its his own muslim that too an imam who commited blasphemy. or will the judge be bias and let him go. this will show the double standards of pakistani muslims who right now are protesting about the double standards of the west.
