COLOMBO: Afghanistan's captain Nawroz Mangal won the toss and sent India in to bat in a group A match of the World Twenty20 in Colombo on Wednesday.

 

Defending champions England are the third team in the group, from where the top two will advance to the Super Eights round.

 

Afghanistan: Nawroz Mangal (captain), Dawlat Zadran, Gulbodin Naib, Karim Sadiq, Mohammad Nabi, Mohammad Shahzad, Asghar Stanikzai, Najibullah Zadran, Samiullah Shenwari, Shafiqullah Shafaq, Shapoor Zadran.
