Rawalpindi: low lying areas inundated

RAWALPINDI: Following heavy rain, low lying areas of the city have become inundated and the water level in Nalla Lai has increased.

 

Water has entered homes in low lying areas and the city’s relief agencies have been placed on alert.

 

According to the MET Office, Chaklala received 15 MM and Bokra recieved70 MM of rain in Rawalpindi.

 

In Islamabad, Siadpur received 33MM, Golra 32MM and Sector H-8 received 8MM of rain.
