Ex PML-Q leader, son joins PML-N

LAHORE: Former Federal Minister and Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML-Q) leader from Gujranwala Shahid Akran Bhandar along with his son Waleed Akram Bhandar joined Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

 

According to PML-N’s official statement, Shahid Akram Bhandar and his son Waleed Akram Bhandar met PML-N’s president Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Lahore.

 

On the occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Chaudhary Nisar and Iqbal Zafar Jhagra were present in the meeting where Shahid Akram Bhandar and Waleed Akram Bhandar reposed confidence in Nawaz Sharif’s leadership and announced to join PML-N.

 

As per official statement, Waleed Akram Bhandar used to be the President of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) district Gujranwala.
