DUBAI: Pakistani offspinner spinner Saeed Ajmal on Monday has become the leading wicket taker in the Twenty20 format of the International cricket.
The Pakistani offspinner achieved 60 wickets to his credit in the 42nd T20 match, who is followed by his teammates Umar Gul and Shahid Afridi.
The star bowler achieved the record after taking the 59th wicket of Australian batsmen Michael Hussey in the third T20 against Australia at Dubai cricket Stadium, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, Umar Gul after taking his 59th wicket in third T20 against Australia left behind Shahid Afridi who has 58 wickets to his credit.
