NAWABSHAH: The rain lashed Nawabshah and its suburbs for the third consecutive day while four persons were killed in rain related incidents during the period.
The first incident occurred in old city area where roof of a house caved in due to which two minor children died on the spot.
The second incident occurred near Madina Masjid where 12 of the same family came under the debris of roof. The area people soon started rescue and managed to take out 12 persons from the debris, however a 13- year- old girl Iqra was found dead while a young man succumbed to injuries later in the hospital.
The doctors said that the injured persons were out of danger. On
the other hand rainwater accumulated in low lying areas and it was not
yet drained out. (APP)
