SPLGO challenged in SC

KARACHI: Sindh People’s Local Government Ordinance-2012 has been challenged in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, Geo News reported.

 

The petitioner Karachi Alliance challenging SPLGO has named Sindh Governor, Sindh Chief Minister, chief secretary, law secretary and secretary local bodies as respondents.

 

The petitioner has made a plea that by promulgating SPLGO violation of articles 4, 8, 5, 32, 25 and 140 of the constitution has been committed.

Event of May 12, 2007 make atleast me to leave Karachi, so I am here in Canada , Mr Syed. Tell me that it was not MQM, who was not supporting these GOONDAs. Look at your own comment, you are also writing/speaking the same language (of MQM)for Pakistanis living abroad.[Sindh ko apani Jaagir samajh rakha hai in logon ne.]

@ Syed Pakistan, do you know why many Pakistanis are living in North America ? It is because of YOU and YOUR MQM. We are not safe living in Sindh (Karachi-Hyderabad-Sukkur-Mirpur Khas) and all because of Terrorist activities supported by MQM.So we preffer to live out side Pakistan.

On the contrary, the SPLGO will bring peace to the city. People who are not Sindhis have no right to raise voices against it so does none can comment while sitting in USA himself.

SPLGO will empower MQM to indulge in more violence, ethnic cleansing, torture and extortion. Altaf Hussain is running short of money, MQM needs greater power to indulge in extortion.
