Quetta observes shutter down strike

QUETTA: Shutter down strike is being observed in different parts of the city in protest against yesterday’s Hazarganji incident here, while the city wears a forlorn look, Geo News reported.

 

The wave of violence continued in the city as one more person was gunned down in Sariab area here on Sunday while another victim of the Hazargangi incident succumbed to his injuries.

 

Balochistan Shia Conference and Hazara Democratic Party had given the call for the shutter down strike today in protest against the massacre of seven persons in Hazarganji area.

 

Different parts of the city including Alamdar Road, Marri Abad Hazara Town observing shutter down strike. The shops and business centres are closed and traffic also remained thin.

 

Meanwhile, the burial of seven persons killed in Hazarganji incident took place yesterday night in Hazara Town graveyard.
