ISLAMABAD: Enforced disappearances are still continuing in Balochistan province, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) said in a report.

According to the report launched here on Thursday by a fact-finding mission of HRCP, Frontier Corps (FC) and intelligence agencies were generally believed to be involved in enforced disappearance of people.

The report said that the law and order situation in the province has worsened and sectarian killings have also increased in all the districts.

Kidnappings for ransom had become a profitable enterprise. No perpetrator had been arrested or tried, the report said.

"Journalists in the field felt threatened from the security forces, militants and insurgents", it added.
