ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday hosted a reception in honour of parliamentarians, diplomats, Services Chiefs and people from all walks of life, here at the PM House.
Chairman Senate Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari called on the Prime Minister and exchanged Eid greetings.
Chief of Army Staff Gen. Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt also called on the Prime Minister and felicitated him on the festive occasion.
Diplomats and ambassadors based in the capital separately called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and greeted him on Eid-ul-Fitr. The Prime Minister warmly greeted the guests, shook hands and felicitated them.
People from all walks of life also met the Prime Minister at a separate reception. Many a guests had brought children, who also wanted a photograph with the PM. The guests were served with refreshments, including the all-time eid specialty of 'sheer khurma'.
