KARACHI: Former Olympians have once again joint hands against the hockey federation.

Seven former Olympians met at a session in Karachi and demanded resignation from the federation.

Islahuddin, Samiullah, Rasheed ul Hasan, Qamar Ibrahim, Ayaz Mehmood and Akhtar ul Islam were present at a session held at olympian Qamar Zia’s residence in Karachi.

They said that the federation remarks even after finishing 7th at the Olympics that the team played well indicates the incompetence and lack of knowledge of the management and it would be better if the federation quits.

They said that they would meet again after Eid and announce their future plan of action.

With all the bitterness against hockey, the acronym PHF must now be re-designated as the "Pakistan HOKEY Federation." Salams
