10 hurt as stones pelted at rally

SKARDU: At least ten people including two DSPs sustained injuries when some unidentified outlaws pelted stones on Youm ul Quds rally near Khaplu area here on Friday.

 

According to police, a Youm ul Quds rally was organized in Khaplu on the occasion of Jumma tul Wida. On the way some unidentified people pelted stones on rally, which caused 2 DSPs Iftekhaar Ahmed and Ghulam Nabi among 10 people hurt.

 

Police retaliated and fired shells after which attackers fled away.
