Green groceries, fruits’ prices decrease

ISLAMABAD: The prices of most of the fruits and vegetables decreased in the Sasta Bazaars of Islamabad, however tomato price has registered increase.

 

According to daily rate list issued by District Administration Islamabad, apples being available at Rs40 to 180 per kg, Banana Rs50 to 126 per dozen, mango at Rs45 to 75 per kg, pear at Rs45, plum at Rs105 to 190, guavas are available at Rs52, Peach at Rs50 to 80, grapes Rs118 to 180 per kg, apricot Rs50 to 100 per kg and dates Rs90 to 170 per kg.

 

According to rate list, the prices of vegetable, tomato prices have been increased by 20 rupees in a week. The current price is Rs60 per kg, potato is being sold at Rs33 per kg, onion Rs35 per kg, lemon Rs135 per kg, lady finger Rs 30 per kg, brinjal Rs17 per kg, green paper Rs55 per kg, green chilli Rs35 per kg, spinach Rs16 per kg, cauliflower Rs54 per kg, bitter gourd Rs15 per kg and carrot available at Rs26.
