BUDERIM: Pakistan has beaten Scotland by 9 wickets in a Group B match of the under-19 World Cup on Sunday here, Geo News reported.

 

This is the second consecutive second victory of Pakistan in the event.

 

Scotland winning the toss opted to bat and made 200 runs in 49.5 overs. Ross Mclean scoring 59, Freddie Coleman 39 and Kyle Smith 34 remained the main scorers from Scotland side. Mohammad Nawaz took 4 wickets and Adil 2 from Pakistan side.

 

Pakistan faced no difficulty in meeting the target set by the Scotland, as Sami Aslam and Babar Azam’s dazzling 163 runs opening partnership made the task easy. Babar Azam played the inning of 106 runs remaining not out, while Sami Aslam scoring 78 went out.
