THARPARKUR: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said Thursday that the government had no clash with any institution.

Addressing a gathering after inspecting the Thar coal project, Prime Minister Ashraf said he would accept the decision of the people.

Commenting on the elections, the prime minister said the PPP wanted free and fair elections and unlike others, his party sought them. “No one understands politics better than the PPP.”

He added that the PPP wanted to hold free and fair elections regardless of what others wanted.

Earlier, the prime minister said the Thar coal project in Sindh can play a vital role in energy production and overcome power crisis in the country.

On Wednesday the Supreme Court issued a show-cause notice for contempt of court to Prime Minister Ashraf for failing to implement its orders in the NRO implementation case and not writing the letter to Swiss authorities to open graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

Why the PM repeatedly says the silly thing -- "no clash with any institution" -- is he going to write the letter -- if not then how can he avoid clash with the institution?
