Balochistan: Drs strike enters 8th day

QUETTA: Doctors in Balochistan continue to protest against the abduction of their colleague for the 8th consecutive day.

 

Doctors in government and private hospitals of Balochistan including Quetta are observing a strike on the call of Pakistan Medical Association against the kidnapping of a doctor of Bolan Medical Complex (BMC).

 

The Outdoor Patient Departments of all government and private hospitals remained shut across the province on Wednesday.

 

Psychiatrist Dr Ghulam Rasool of BMC hospital was kidnapped from Brewery Road on August 1, 2012.

 

The doctors have vowed to continue their protest until the recovery of Dr Rasool.

Doctors should collect the ransom money and give it to Mr Raisaini so that the release of kidnapped doctor can be secured.

Dsyfunctional and crime friendly provincial government cannot do any thing. Pk MAP and doctors should shut the provincial government secretariat. The Chief Secretary, Secretary Health, Secretary Home and IG Police should be made OSD.
