ISLAMABAD: As Eid-ul-Fitr draws near, shopping is gaining momentum with the great hustle and bustle in the city's main bazaars and markets.
Heavy rush of people is seen at bazaars and markets ahead of Eid. People are seen buying various items ranging from clothes to footwear, while shopkeepers have illuminated their shops with multi-coloured lights and decorations to attract customers.
Young girls, women and youth alike are seen thronging shopping centres where rush of shoppers is noticeable.
Colourful Eid stalls established at various points in the twin cities are offering different kinds of henna besides, cosmetics, earrings, gleaming bangles, embroidered clothes, jewellery, handbags, shoes and colourful dresses, while the shoppers are also taking keen interest in such illuminated shopping malls.
The markets including Karachi Company, Abpara, Commercial, Moti Bazar, Raja Bazar and Sadar Bazaar have been illuminated with lights. (APP)
