Three killed in Karachi firing incidents

KARACHI: Two persons were killed in a shootout that ensued after two armed rival groups fiercely clashed in Pak Colony area on Monday morning here, Geo News reported.

 

Police said that the members of the two allegedly criminal groups armed with weapons traded fires killing two persons at Jahanabad located in the vicinity of Pak Colony. Later the dead were identified as Liaquat s/o Abbas and Ali Ahmad s/o Rahimdad, police said.

 

Following the incident the situation in the areas is tense and additional contingents of police and Rangers have been deployed. Police claimed that the deceased belong to the gang war. Their bodies have been shifted to the Civil Hospital for autopsy.

 

Meanwhile, a corpse was retrieved from a sewage drain near Dental College in North Nazimabad. Police said that the body is yet to be identified.
