Existence of polio virus revealed in Pak

ISLAMABAD: World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed existence of polio P3 virus in Karachi, Hyderabad and Peshawar, Geo News reported.

 

According to sources, WHO experts obtained drain water samples across the country and after examination it revealed existence of polio P3 virus in Karachi, Hyderabad and Peshawar. It warned that this virus easily transmits from one child to another.

 

In Karachi, a large quantity of polio P3 virus exists in Baldia and Gadap Towns, the sources added.

we need a detailed note of this statement , this is real alarming to note. whats the preparation for this? i mean what can be done for this with this much load shedding and difficult to maintain the cold chain of the vaccine.
