KARACHI: Dengue virus has been confirmed in ten suspected patients in Karachi in a week, Geo News reported on Saturday.
According to dengue surveillance cell, dengue virus has been confirmed in ten patients in Karachi ahead of monsoon season. It added that dengue cases would further rise with the beginning of the rainy season.
On Saturday, two dengue cases were confirmed in the metropolis.
The cell stated that arrangements have been made in the hospitals on government level for dengue patients besides spray in different areas.
The cell asked the masses to adopt precautionary measures at their homes to prevent themselves from this deadly disease.
