ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan of tax evasion.

During a news conference Nisar said Imran Khan had not paid his tax returns, hidden his assets, not declared his foreign earnings and had not been upfront as to how he purchased his residence. Nisar challenged Imran Khan to take him to court over these allegations otherwise he would make details of Imran’s taxes public.

Nisar said that both the PML-N and PTI should approach the Chief Justice of Pakistan or the Chief Justices of the provincial high courts and request them to form a commission or judicial tribunal where both parties could submit evidence against each other.

The opposition leader added that Imran Khan was the only politician who criticised the opposition more than the government. “The target of Imran Khan’s criticism is Nawaz Sharif and the PML-N.”

The opposition leader compared Imran Khan to Interior Minister Rehman Malik, challenging them both to approach British courts if they had any concerns regarding the business dealings of Nawaz Sharif’s son Hasan Nawaz.

First of all PML-N (member and immediate family) should declare their Tax Return in front of public. Just to make if worth while listening to them. Blaming Imran Khan for tax evasion since 1970s means that twice when PML-N was holding public offices including Pakistan Tax Office, they were not doing there job properly. How could have Tax Office under PML-N be so negligent that I could not catch Imran Khan so 10 years under PML-N and 10 years under PPP? God help us all.

IK should clarify his position viz-a-viz Tax Evasion. With Pervaiz Elahi's statement of today in favour of IK,he is a good catch for IK to consider for PM's slot. PMLn. ppp and PTI are three sides, amongst others, of the multi-sided coin.IK got himself a seat in the elections and now with the electables having joined the motley crowd, PTI should bag between 15 to 20 seata. Is he ignorant to say that Imran Khan has targeted PML_N more than the govt. Imran Khan must do that. Because PPP is not the rival in next elections,PML-N is. He has to expose the failures of PML-N in the last over 4 yrs. PML-N has recently started a dirty politics against Imran Khan with no substance to it. It is harming PML_N itself.
