FAISALABAD: An alleged robber was killed with the bullet of his own accomplice in the limits of Jhang Sadar police station.
Mujahid Abbas, resident of Kharora Baqir, reported to police that he was sleeping in his house when he heard the dogs barking.
"I woke up and came out of my house. I saw two men moving in the sugarcane crop in front of my house".
"I asked for their identification, but they started firing. I also resorted to aerial firing. The exhange of fire continued for half an hour".
"Hearing sound of firing, the area people also gathered there. When we searched, we found a body of one outlaw lying in the sugarcane crop while his accomplice managed to escape under the cover of darkness".
Mujahid Abbas claimed that both the outlaws had come to commit robbery in his house but during firing one of the alleged robbers was killed with the bullet of his own accomplice.
