MULTAN: The residents of a suburban area of Multan protested against the three-day long power outage in the area Monday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the residents of Nawab Pur protested against the power outage and told that they had been devoid of electricity since first Ramzan that has triggered water shortage in the area.

The demonstrators set the tyres on fire and also climbed up the poles while protesting.

The agonized locals told that Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) authority has not yet reached the area to rectify the issue nor they have any information about the fault.

The protesting residents told that they could not even observe the fast today due to high temperature and loadshedding.

why did people in Multan elected gallini's son in election? do they actually think gallani and team took care of the people in last 4 years? and now they gave their votes again to these thieves - why do you keep on doing the same thing over and over again Multan? Why dont you learn from your mistakes? why dont you go to your peer gallani khandaan and tell him to show a miracle (Jadoo) to restore load-shedding -- Alas! you do not understand.

- burning a tire here and climbing a pole there will NOT restore power. you 'good folks' have been doing this for years. - as far gilani 'winning' the by-election! the ballot boxes, as usual, were stuffed with the name of the DEAD individuals.
