SUKKUR: Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has said that government has provided a subsidy of Rs2.5 billion to ensure availability of cheap Atta to the poor masses during the holy month of Ramzan.

Talking to media persons at Sukkur Airport, Qaim Ali Shah said profiteering would not be allowed during the holy month.

He said food items are being sold at Utility Stores at 25 to 40 percent discount.

Commenting on law and order situation in Karachi, the Sindh CM claimed that incidents of target killings have witnessed a decline and added that a clash between two groups should not be labeled as target killing.

He said for the first time it has happened that members of two groups who had engaged in a fight were rounded up by police.

To a question, he said Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif was joining hands with 'political orphans' in Sindh.

Does decline in killing means that leader of miscreant gang will not be pursued and all killed will be forgotten by law agencies and no step were taken to bring killers to law. If killing gang leader are not pursued then how could killing be stopped fore long. Thats the root cause of all problem when killers and there gang leaders allowed to roam freely once the killing season ended for few months.

What non-sense he is talking about killing. It means a person's life has no value in his eyes and he is totally blinded with his greed and money making business. A certified stupid illiterate person in a ruling system.

Oh, really? Why do we keep reading about multiple killings almost every single day in Karachi? Are these false stories or these senseless killings considered as justified or routine? Please CM explain to the fed up people of Karachi.

What a joke by Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah about target killings on a decline in Karachi- Who is killing who? You are responsible as Chief Minister of Sindh. Why not Chief Minister asked Pakistan Army to help when Karachi Police and Rangers failed to do the job to control the target killings in Karachi. Chief Minister must tender his resignation on the worst law-and-order and huge corruption situations in Karachi in last four years of PPP government in Karachi.
