PESHAWAR: A two-year old child died shortly after he was allegedly administered a wrong injection at Lady Reading Hospital here on Saturday.

According to the details, Ayaz Muhammad, a resident of Khazana, Charsadda road, admitted his two-year old kid, suffering from mizzles disease, to LRH Isolation ward.

The father claimed that no senior doctor came to check his child up for the last four days while only house job doctors looked after his kid.

He said that on fourth day, a medical dispenser prescribed an injection whose price was Rs 5,000. He claimed that his son died while being administered the injection.

Meanwhile, the hospital administration has said that they will probe the whole matter.
