LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Tuesday termed the resignation of Interior Advisor Rehman Malik from Senate seat as another ploy of the incumbent government.
In a statement issued here, Rana Sanaullah reiterated that the Punjab was getting unfair treatment in regard to loadshedding, adding Rehman Malik should advise his 'corrupt federal government' to carry out uniform loadshedding in all the provinces.
"The looters and plunderers will have to face the wrath of people in the next general elections," the Punjab Law Minister believed.
Earlier today, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik said he had tendered resignation from Senate membership.
