MARDAN: Three persons including two women were killed in separate incidents of violence in suburban areas of the city, police said on Wednesday.
According to police, Jehanzed was returning from a court when his brother Shahid Akhtar killed him by spraying a volley of bullets in Baghdada area, within limits of City Police Station. The reason behind the killing was stated to be a property dispute.
In another incident wife of Habib-ul-Ayan fell prey to the firing of his brother-in-law in Mohib Banda.
The third incident that occurred within precincts of Rustam Police Station, a married woman identified as Shah Zari hanged herself by a rope.
The reason behind the suicide was not ascertained. Police have registered cases and started investigation.
