KARACHI: Shopkeepers beat SIU personnel wearing civilian dress in Jama Cloth market located on M A Jinnah Road, here on Friday.
According to the SIU personnel, they raided Jama Cloth market on the information regarding presence of extortionist in the market.
However, SSP South said that civilian dressed SIU personnel themselves visited market for extortion, adding that the case will be registered against the them under anti-terrorism act.
He said that according to the initial investigation SIU personnel are to blame.
