ISLAMABAD: Rasool Mehsud has been removed as the Managing Director of the National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC).
Mehsud will be replaced by Naveed Ismail as the new Managing Director. On Monday, Federal Minister for Water and Power Ahmed Mukhtar declared he and Mehsud could not hold their respective posts at the same time.
Mukhtar had alleged that Mehsud was using his contacts to retain his position. Mukthar added that he would leave the ministry if Mehsud continued working on his position.
The Water and Power Minister had issued orders to suspend Mehsud after he had taken charge of the ministry.
