Five more killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Five people including a political worker were killed in various incidents of violence while a dead body was also recovered from the metropolis, Geo news reported Thursday.

 

According to the police, a bullet riddled body was found from Qasba Colony of Orangi Town and another under the Liaquatabad bridge. The bodies were shifted to hospital for identity and medico-legal formalities.

 

In Orangi Town #1, unidentified assailants opened fire killing a man and injuring another who succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. In another incident in Orangi town, a political worker was injured in firing.

 

Another political worker named Asif was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire near Johar Mor. He succumbed to his wounds during treatment in the hospital.

 

In another incident of firing, a taxi driver was gunned down in Zia Colony of Korangi area.

 

It is worth mentioning here that seven persons including a doctor were killed in the on-going violence in the city on Wednesday.

Even if these killing collapse karachi economy which in turn collapse Pakistan financially even then the organizers of killing gangs will not be arrested. Nor ever organizers of extortionist gang be arrested.
