DALLAS: Renowned radio anchor of Dallas Dr Mona Kazim Shah hosted a grand reception at her resident at South lack Texas in honor of her mother Ms Safia Shah who serves as international broadcaster at Voice of America.
A number of prominent Dallas personalities attended the dinner which includes Dr Qaiser Abbas (Assistant Dean at University of North Texas), Syed fayyaz Hassan (Interim President of Pakistan People's Party), Tausif Kamal (Attorney and Director at South Asia Democracy Watch), Mr. John (Ex. French diplomat in Afghanistan), Shariq Hamid (Owner of Fun Asia radio), Humeira Hamid, Mr. Irfan Anwar (Son of famous music director Late Khwaja Khursheed Anwar), Rubina Anwar, Sajjad Azhar, Raja Zahid Khanzada, Nasreen Khanzada (Jornalists from Dallas Fort Worth).
Dr Mona Kazim Shah and her husband Dr Zeeshan Shah welcomed all guests. Safia Shah addressing the group said that journalists can bring out revolution in any country through their writings and presentations, all the revolutionary movements in Arab world were lead by free media, as free media has made us a smaller world.
She said "It is our responsibility to serve with full integrity and honesty, so as to lead people". The reception at Dr Shah's residence in South Lake ended with a sumptuous dinner. Mr. Gulleme Bonnet and wife Ambareen Bonnet specially came to attend the event.
