Ogra notifies slash in petroleum prices

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued the notification late on Friday, reducing  prices of petroleum products by as much as Rs. 11.75 for the next fifteen days (June 16-30), Geo News reported.

 

The new price of  petrol stands at Rs. 89.51/litre, down by Rs. 10.46/litre.

 

Diesel, after a decrease of Rs. 6.80 will be sold at Rs99.69/litre, while consumers will pay Rs. 86.57 for a litre of light speed diesel after a reduction of Rs. 5.20 in its price.

 

Kerosene oil, revised down by Rs. 5.26, will be retailed at Rs. 88.79/litre for the next fortnight.

 

The price of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) has been cut by Rs11.75, it will now be available to the consumers for Rs. 113.32/litre at all the outlets.

 

Last but not the least, the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for Region I (Potohar‚ Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Balochistan) is down by Rs. 4.82/kilogram and for Region II (Central Punjab and Sindh) Rs. 4.80/kilogram.
