LAHORE: The Lawyers community on Friday boycotted court proceedings to express solidarity with Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The lawyers completely boycotted the proceedings at the Lahore High Court, sessions courts, civil courts and other courts in city.
The Punjab Bar Council has given a two-day strike call and boycott will also continue on Saturday (June 16).
The boycott affected litigants who had to return disappointed as their cases could not be heard.
