Petrol, CNG to go down by Rs 10, 6: Asim

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain has said that people of Pakistan will hear good news regarding record reduction of petroleum and CNG prices effective from June 16.

 

Talking to Geo News on Thursday, Dr Asim Hussain said that prices of petrol would be cut by Rs 10 per litre while CNG Rs 6 per litre.

 

He said that the decision has been taken on the special directives given by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.

 

He said that the decision would help to decrease the inflation rate and people would get relief.

Why is it that whenever the oil prices in the international market drop considerably and subsequently those in Pakistan come down (albeit by a little bit), it's always due to the special 'pro-poor' directives of Zardari and Gilani?

I heard this stupid news every 30 minutes through out on TV, all day. The News men were so happy as if they were bribed by the government. These did not realize that they were fooling like the daily promises of Zardari and Gilanio. Who also claim numerous achievements in Pakistan that no body can see. They forget that the people are noting their frequent foriegn trips and their corrupt ministers.

Sir who are you trying to fool here? Now really, on the directives of PM and President. The FACT is, the petrol prices in the global markets have come down thats why you have to cut the prices, coz you dont have a choice! Its just the matter of Supply & Demand, nothing to do with PM or President,so please stop giving them credit for something they have nothing to do with.
