War on terror was never Pakistan's: PTI

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan Thursday said that “War on Terror” was never Pakistan’s and it earned the country nothing but disgrace, Geo News reported.

 

He said this while addressing All Pakistan Ulema, Mashaikh, and Sajjada Nasheens Conference here.

 

The PTI leader said that Americans deliberately martyred our sentinels deployed in Waziristan, adding such so-called friendly fires have only fueled suicide bombing in Pakistan.

Militancy is nothing but a kind of lawlessness. As long as we will not take matters into our own hands and completely stop foreign interference in Pakistan, this lawlessness will prevail. The simple reason is that lawlessness or militancy is an issue that relates to Pakistan, and we are letting others take charge of the situation who are not interested in the resolution of the problem, instead they have a stake in further destabilizing Pakistan in the name of fighting so-called War on Terror.
