ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested six persons including two absconders and recovered 30 wine bottles, weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to details, ASI Imtiaz Hussain from Industrial area police nabbed Suneel Iqbal Masih and recovered 30 wine bottles from his possession. ASI Nur Elahi from Ramna police nabbed Javed Shah and recovered one Kalashnikov from him while ASI Abdul Ghafoor from Tarnol police arrested Abdul Rehman selling petroleum products without permission letter.
ASI Nawazish Ali from Sabzi Mandi police apprehended Imran Khan and recovered stolen mobile phone and cash from his possession. CIA police and Shehzad town police apprehended one court absconder each and started further investigation from them.
SSP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to intensify vigilance as well as patrolling in their respective areas.
