LAHORE: DIG Operations Muhammad Tahir Rai Wednesday dismissed an inspector and two constables on the charges of involving of illegal activities and absent from duty.
The dismissed police officials are SHO Temour Malik, constables Ehsan Sadiq and Muhammad Iqbal, the police sources said here on Wednesday.
The DIG also awarded different punishments to 20 other police officials including 10 SHOs involved in corruption, negligence from duty and poor performance.
They were SHO Nawab Town Amer Saleem, SI Amjad Ali, Amer Nazir, Imran Yousaf, ASI Muhammad Ashraf, Sardar Ali, Khadam, Inspector Tahir Mehmood, SI Muhammad Hanif, Waqasul Hassan, Muhammad Asif, Babar Sardar, Asif Zia, Amanat Ali, Babar Ali, Saeed Ahmad and Arshid Saeed.
