KMU announces BDS final exam results
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar, has declared BDS Final Professional Annual Examinations session 2017 results.
In six affiliated dental colleges of KMU, there were over all 287 students appeared in the final professional BDS examination out of which 236 declared successful.
The gazette notification released by examination department of KMU revealed that Naila Noreen of Dental Section of Ayub Medical College Abbottabad secured 1st position by obtaining 1023 marks and Yusra Shaukat of Dental Section Woman Medical College, Abbottabad and Maira Javaid of Dental Section Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan, shared 2nd position by securing 1016 marks; Tooba Siddiqui of Khyber Dental College, Peshawar and Leena Wisal of KMU-Institute of Dental Sciences, Kohat, got 3rd position with 1015 marks.
In the said BDS final professional annual examination 2017, the passing ratio of Khyber College of Dentistry Peshawar was 92 percent, while that of Dental Section, Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad was 77 percent, Dental Section Woman Medical College, Abbottabad 76 percent, Dental Section Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan 97 percent, KMU Institute of Dental Sciences, Kohat 78 percent and Dental Section Abbottabad International Medical College, Abbottabad stood at 66 percent.
Vice-Chancellor KMU Prof. Dr. Arshad Javaid greeted the successful students specially the position holders. “The young graduates of dentistry were our pride and we wished that they will improve their professional and communications skills through hard work and dedication in the near future,” he added.
