PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Syed Masood Kausar said on Thursday that Dr Shakil Afridi is not the first one who was convicted and he has the right to appeal, Geo News reported.
While talking to the media here, the KP governor said that Dr Afridi was convicted following the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) and he has the right to appeal against his conviction.
He said that the courts will decide about his future.
KP Governor Masood Kausar also told that the government is utilising all the possible resources to bring the tribesmen into national mainstream.
