LAHORE: All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) staged a protest demonstration at Shadman Chowk here on Wednesday to oppose proposed increase in CNG price and other issues.
Holding placards and posters hundreds of protesters including employees of CNG filling stations chanted slogans in favour of the demands.
APCNGA, CNG Dealers Association and CNG Owners Association had announced strike and protest demonstrations infavour of their demands.
Addressing the occasion, Captain (r) Shuja, vice chairman APCNGA said that the government should resolve all the issues regarding CNG so that the employees of CNG filling stations could earn their money.
He said that almost all the filling stations are facing three days closure of CNG while in other days they have to face worst low pressure of the gas in urban areas.
Talking to APP, Ghyyas Abdullah Paracha, chairman APCNGA, said that proposed increase in CNG prices is a big issue for CNG sectors as this industry is already facing so many problems so the government should accept our demands.
