QUETTA: At least six people including a policeman were killed during a firing incident on Sarki road, Geo News reported.
According to initial reports unknown men opened fire on a cement shop killing the owner, sons and workers on the spot. The gunmen then attacked the policemen riding on a motorcycle, police said
The gunmen were able to flee from the incident in a rickshaw. The two injured policemen were rushed to the Civil Hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
According to SP Qaidabad the incident was part of the wave of target killing in the city.
