We have a national habit of de-railing whatever is moving OK, how could cricket be any exception.

If you select a captain who is specialist in making zero specially first ball zero, this was bound to happen. You have to perform to command respect from your team mates speciaslly Pakistani team mates who all have desire to be captain. Misbah was dropped on public pressure as he was not making run fast but atleast the team was able to play alloted 20 overs. Bringing in elderly daddy to debut in 20 over game is mind bogling. Player of that age normally retire from 20 oer game.

I think, it is not a good idea to have different captains for different formats. Given their education level, they are bound to harm each other both in/outside the field. Like tomorrow, the headline would be: " Hafeez didn't give enough opportunity to Afridi to bowl and he responded by not batting properly; or they need Misbah to solidify the middle order and so on.........." I believe, the new coach/management easily endorsed this is idea different captains without much considerations.
