If US President can appear before a Judge lower than High or Supreme Court, where PPP president or speaker stand. No one is above Supreme Court. In democracy any one can be president but cannot be a supreme court CJ.

It was a moment of triumph and catharsis when Supreme Court convicted Ex-PM of contempt but since disappointment as first he did not resign and to antagonize masses Fehmida abused her position in not referring to EC of Pakistan. Kaira a scornful person has thrown a challenge to Court as in his words Speaker’s word be treated as gospel. The entire NRO exercise was played over 30 months to save Sobriquet Mr 120 % according to W. Post. The ball is in the court of Nawaz and Imran to evict ex-PM

Mr Kaira is not legal expert and not able man to talk on Constitution. SC orders issued or final and Speaker of the house is only there to discuss the parliamentary affairs not to go against a judgement of the highest courts of Pakistan. Chief Justice will come up with a verdict soon defining the limits and jurisdiction of the Speaker of the House. Speaker is not a higher authority than the SC CJ.

what about the case of Zardari in 1997/98 when PPP went to court and had Speakers decision overturned by the high and supreme courts. These do not understand that law applies to all. Speaker is obviously not fully independent here.
