3 bodies recovered so far from Siachen

RAWALPINDI: Three bodies of soldiers have so far been recovered after they came under a huge snow slide at Gayari sector, Siachin on April 7.

 

According to an ISPR spokesman here on Monday, bodies of two soldiers were recovered during the last 24 hours. All bodies recovered from Check Post area have been identified.

 

One Shaheed soldier Muhammad Hussain was buried at his native town (Skardu) yesterday while bodies of remaining two sepoy Rashid from District, Sudhnoti, Azad Kashmir and sepoy Ilyas from District Ghanche were being dispatched to their native towns.

 

He said that work on excavation sites was in progress, adding, 312 engineers and workers, 48 plants including 10 Dozers, 11 Excavators, 18 Dump trucks and 9 FE loaders were working round the clock to recover the remaining soldiers.

It is my request to Pakistan Arm forces ISI or concern authorities...kindly don't publish one by one about news of personals we lost in Gayari sector, Siachin especially on news channels media.....as they don't publish them as they deserve. They are great people and still alive among us..'" aek or laash mil gae " ..... " 2 lasheen ho gae" such type of statements is painful for us.
